Well, we’ve outdone ourselves this time folks! The latest issue of GDUSA features some of the best packaging in the country. The 2017 American Package Design Awards features 200 elite design firms, and EBD is thrilled to announce we have four winning pieces that are featured in this top-notch issue. On top of that, we also have a fifth award coming from GDUSA in their upcoming American Web Design Awards issue.
Hammond’s Candies has been making some of the finest candies right here in Denver, CO for over 90 years. Hammond’s is continually pushing the limits of candy making by creating delicious treats one after the other. The Mellow Fluffs are just one of the latest innovations they have to offer.
Old Dominion Peanut Company, makers of a variety of nut based snacks for over 100 years, approached EBD to refresh their look. They wanted something more contemporary, while reflecting the company’s history. EBD redeveloped their brand with a clean contemporary logo and all new packaging that uses a smart color coded system to unify all their products.
KIOSK + DISPLAYS DESIGN
Lakehouse is a new high-rise condominium development at Sloan’s Lake in Denver. To help sell these luxury condominiums, EBD designed a custom interactive kiosk that provides prospective buyers with a variety of information. They can learn about the neighborhood, browse through the gallery or pick out the condo that’s right for them, all from this easy-to-use touchscreen kiosk.
In addition to the Kiosk win, we also won a GDUSA American Web Design Award for the Lakehouse website! The win will be published in their American Web Design Award issue in a couple months. Check out the website, lakehouse17.com, that showcases this beautiful new condominium development. Browse the neighborhood, revel in the beautiful architecture, all while learning about the WELL certification, which upon completion will be the first in the state.
LUXURY PACKAGING DESIGN
And, five times the charm: the 2015 Luminocity Invitation for MCA Denver. This invite is truly luxurious. It features die cutting, foil stamping, laser cut type and imagery, metallic ink and a liquid-filled glitter cube, all housed in a gold box.
