Multifamily growth in Denver’s Golden Triangle

Just outside Downtown Denver is the Golden Triangle neighborhood. This area is rapidly growing into a cultural hub. Home to the State Capital, Denver Art Museum, Clyfford Still Museum, the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Arts, Denver History Museum and vast cultural experiences, this diverse district reaches a wide group of people.

Quarterra Multifamily, formerly known as Lennar Multifamily Communities, has been invested in this neighborhood and its potential since the mid 2000s. EBD worked on this project from the beginning by establishing the Citizen W10 name and the brand identity.

EBD focused on building a brand that would attract the target demographic of renters seeking a quieter neighborhood with walkable tree-lined streets that is close to downtown, but not in it. Citizen refers to a resident of a particular town or location. The name is simple, straightforward, and not pretentious, yet high end and confident much like the target consumers in the Golden Triangle community.

The Golden Triangle is home to many galleries and museums. Citizen W10’s brand identity was heavily inspired by this neighborhood’s artistic community. The brand’s simplicity and sophistication is also reflected in the bronze, black, and crisp white color palette – a perfect frame – current, yet it can grow and stay relevant as the neighborhood develops.

The Citizen W10 building has an impressive art collection, hotel style lobby, a roof deck with entertaining areas, a pool, plunge pool, and a grand view of both the Rocky Mountains and downtown. To enhance renter’s leasing experience we created a custom folder, brochure and personal style stationery and notecards.

All interior and exterior signage was custom branded and specked to match the brand palette in the finishes. From building signs to pedestrian signs and even a sign in the tile at the entry, Citizen W10’s identity is visible throughout.
